The hotel is comfortably located and has 12 floors where 86 rooms found their place. The hotel can receive up to 153 guests. Peace, comfortable furniture, cozy halls dispose to rest and productive work. The rooms of the hotel are equipped with bathrooms, air-conditioning, telephones, mini-fridges. The rooms have panoramic views of the renovated stadium.

 

Our Review

The Gloria hotel is situated 2 minutes walk from the renovated shiny football stadium “Metalist” and the Sportivna metro station. The ugly look of the soviet style building, the simple entrance and the reception area is the first impression of the hotel. The reception was unexpectedly (surprisingly) polite and helpful, though English was poor. The hotel has 2 sections: one renovated and one unrenovated. The renovated section is housed on a separate floor with plush wooden doors and a security babushka. The rooms surprised me with their modern look, the new furniture and the stylish bathrooms. I enjoyed also the lux room which has an impressive 2 person jacuzzi and a nice view of the stadium. The unrenovated section is smelly, the furniture looks about 40 years old and the bathroom looks so bad that I would not risk having a bath there but I would probably use the toilet in an emergency.

Standard room (western style) - 450-470 UAH. 4 rooms of this type available.

Standard (single) - 300 UAH. Only 1 room of this type available!

Superior (bedroom + lounge) – 600 UAH. Only 1 room of this type available!

Old-style rooms

Standard room – 280-300 UAH

Single room – 140 UAH.

Double rooms and triple rooms are available which can be shared and this can work out at 70 UAH / night for a room no bathroom or 120 with the bathroom! Breakfast is not included

The hotel is situated right by the "Metalist" stadium and 2 minutes walk from the Sportivna / Metrobudivnykiv metro stations, 10 minutes drive from downtown.

Comments

Each room has its own hot water tank as hot water is not guaranteed in Ukraine.
If you want a shower when you are in a room without a bathroom this will cost you 3 UAH per 15 minutes.
