Aurora Hotel

Overview

Great location in a quiet area, yet only a couple of blocks away from the city centre, high standards of services, well-maintained rooms, elegant restaurant polite staff speaking English; all of the above makes this four star hotel one of the best to stay in Kharkov.

The Aurora is a business-hotel located in the old part of downtown. It has 37 comfortable rooms of five categories and a wide range of other services such as conference services, ticket booking service, international phone communications, free of charge Internet and Wi-Fi in every room and in the public areas, fitness room, laundry services, car renting, translation service, baby-sitting, excursion service, beauty salon.

Our Review

One of the new western style hotels opened in autumn 2007. Very similar to the Chichikov hotel but the rooms seem furnished by an ex-socialist; and they like to insist on showing you the (kinda small) flat screen TVs. Very nice bar area. Free Wi-Fi. Right in the centre, a very respectable place to stay.

Business room - 1290 UAH (1390 for double occupancy)

Room info (33.4 sq. m): balcony, two single beds (90 sm in width), a/c,  mini-bar, mini-safe, secretaire, LCD TV, DVD player, facsimile machine, hairdryer, extended toiletries, scales,  free of charge Internet and Wi-Fi.

Suite 1 - 1990 UAH

Room info (51.6 sq. m): king bed (180 sm in width), sofa in a living room, special layout and house plants, a/c,  mini-bar, mini-safe, secretaire, LCD TV, DVD player, radiophone,  facsimile machine, hairdryer, extended toiletries, scales,  free of charge Internet and Wi-Fi.

Suite-2 (luxury) - 1990 UAH

Room info (55.2 sq. m): king bed (180 sm in width), sofa in a living room, special layout and house plants, a/c,  each room is equipped with mini-bar and mini-safe, secretaire, two LCD TVs, DVD player, radiophone,  facsimile machine, hairdryer, extended toiletries, scales,  free of charge Internet and Wi-Fi.

Apartment (a luxury suite, 3 rooms) - 2990 UAH

Room info (83 sq. m): king bed (180 sm in width), luxury sofa in a living room, business room for 15 persons for conferences and meetings, a/c,  each room is equipped with mini-bar and mini-safe, secretaire, LCD TV, DVD player, hairdryer, extended toiletries, scales, whirlpool, shower cubicle,  free of charge Internet and Wi-Fi.

Restaurants

On the ground floor of the hotel you will find an elegant restaurant with the exquisite title “The Aristocrate”. Being nicely decorated it offers European cuisine as well as the variety of wines. The restaurant also has a cigar hall which offers you the widest variety of cigars in the city.
